Polaroid goes digital

Polaroid goes digital Print digital pictures on the move with a PoGo printer.

The Polaroid became a casualty of the digital age when consumers chose digital cameras for their photographic needs. But now, Polaroid has taken its first steps in the 21st Century by launching the PoGo printer.

Polaroid’s new printer, the Pogo Instant Mobile Printer, allows users to print photographs straight from a mobile camera phone or a digital camera.

Pogo can print photographs within a minute, weighs only eight ounces and is powered by a rechargeable battery. Images can be sent to the gadget via a USB connection or Bluetooth.

The images are generated with Zero Ink technology –heat activated dye crystals that develop the photo.

The printer paper is the size of a business card. Users also have the option to print their photos as stickers.
